Trip To Mexico Project 2k19

For my Spanish project, we first researched the populations and labeled of some of the major cities/ states in Mexico. We then researched ten places to visit in Mexico, two of which had to be in the state of Nayarit, and made a presentation of those places. This project gave us, the students, some background information that we could use while reading our book, Pobre Ana. Ana, the main character of the story, takes a school-sponsored trip to Mexico and gets to live with another family in Nayarit. Not only did this project help when it comes to the book, but it also helped grow my knowledge of the culture in Mexico. From this project I learned that the biggest city in Mexico is Mexico City, the capital, I learned that Guadalajara is the second largest city in Mexico, and so much more. Researching the different places to visit in Mexico also helped me realize that there are so many cool places to go and see. I was surprised to have found that there are so many nice, beautiful places in Mexico, because of the fact that all the news channels ever talk about is how impoverished the country is. This project has opened my eyes to how beautiful this country is. If I ever do go to Mexico in the future, I would love to visit the Whale Watching Sayulita, in Nayarit, and the Underwater Museum in Cancun. I love spending time in nature, especially the beach, and the idea of watching whales swim below me and scuba diving through the blue waters of Cancun sounds absolutely magical.

Best Christmas Present I Gave this Year

The best Christmas present I gave this past Christmas was a perfume kit. On Christmas morning I wrapped it in my room and then gave it to my mom. When my mom opened it her face looked happy and thankful. When I saw her expression it made me feel all warm inside. My mom immediately put some on and wore it for the rest of the day. I am glad I did not just receive this year and that I gave to someone else.

5th Grade Reflections

5th grade has gone by so fast, I don’t even know what happened to the time. This year has been super fun, most of the time. I’ve learned how to divide, multiply, round, how to  do taxes also. It’s been fun learning History and honestly I think I have become a better writer. It has been awesome having Mrs. Lobue again as my home room teacher. I have stuck with my one true best friend this whole year, Nevaeh Ollis. Next year should be fun and exciting, but I’m really going to miss the elementry building, but not the elementry school food.

So Long 5th Grade

The most important thing I learned this year was probably all of the vocabulary and grammar that  Mrs. Lobue taught us. My favorite project would have to be the field trip project. We had so much fun on the one the teachers chose for us. I was most surprised how much harder and more challenging this year was than the last. The thing I disliked most was going to a certain teachers class, because I never knew what mood she was in, but it usually  it was not a good one.
